2023 Updates - Posted 12/31/2022

Life goes on for all of us and sometimes gets in the way. We are facing a few changes that will impact how we do business.

We have not made it a secret that this is a “side-gig” for us and our focus is on service and crafting solutions for our customers while allowing purchases straight from this site for thiose that want to craft their own systems.

Starting January 2023, our “day-jobs” are intruding into our time significantly. As a result, our model is shifting somewhat. Rather than stock as much as we can, we are moving more of a drop ship model. What this means for you is that fulfillment may be delayed a few days due to the need to place order(s) with our vendors. We will keep smaller components in stock, but will ship larger, more expensive items from our vendors. Our shipping days for in-stock items will be Monday / Tuesday and drop-ship items will depend upon vendors. Most of our vendors have caught up so that we expect minimal delays with the exception of high demand items such as Midland’s MXT575.

Because of this change, we will be trimming the items on our site down a bit, but please recall that we have access to the full catalogs for Midland, Rugged Radios and Garmin. We promise to maintain competitive prices.
